Biological males (born with XY chromosomes) with laboratory confirmed testosterone levels below the 50th percentile for age AND symptoms of testosterone deficiency are eligible for testosterone replacement therapy.
An initial consultation with Dr. Justl Ellis as well as laboratory testing to confirm the diagnosis of low testosterone is required prior to starting treatment
Testosterone replacement therapy by Recess Rx is intended solely for treatment of the medical condition of low testosterone and will not be prescribed for recreational, performance enhancing, or other uses.
A reasonable goal for treatment is maintenance of testosterone levels at the 75th percentile for age. Testosterone levels during treatment will be monitored and dosing will be decreased if serum testosterone levels increase above the 99th percentile for age.
